To Build a Home
More than Just Bricks
During the first half of 2021, The Lord has provided Family of God Ministries a cocoon of sorts during a very trying time. He has had us mercifully hidden away as we have been being rebuilt and restructured from within. November 2020 due to corruption within Mozambique. Family of God's precious construction license was revoked. This meant all things stopped! Add Covid to the mix and there seemed to be no hope.
But GOD...
Miraculously even with all the new restrictions Family of God was allowed to purchase a 2nd piece of land for non-commercial use. We are now building God's Family Home.
During this process we have been able to restart our worship services and community attendance is increasing weekly. Slowly but surely change is happening and God is restoring HOPE...

The Process
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Cor 1:9
Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
The Holy Spirit gives the knowledge and understanding of how were are to build. If you give a man a fish he will not be grow, only eat. But if you teach him how to fish, build, farm, read, worship and draw near to God then all his ways will prosper.
Christ promises life and life abundant. The Mozambique government is of the world, so they stand in awe as we begin again. The miracles abound and life abundant is raising up a new hope in Christ.

Trusting God comes first. Family of God is not afraid to make mistakes by listening to and following Holy Spirit. As we grow we must expand not only our faith but also our actions.
"Faith without action is dead."
What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without [a]your works, and I will show you my faith by [b]my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
Indoor plumbing
Tell someone that has never had hope about hope and they cannot comprehend it. Show someone by action hope and the simple mind begins to expand. Learning to hope creates dreams for something new.
How do you imagine something if you don't know of it?
Only God can bring the levels of change we are embracing. As we build we are bringing new concepts to reality. None of our team or those of the bush community has ever imagined indoor plumbing.
